Re: 21 Jump Street
Well, if you compare it to Hot Fuzz, which had both physical comedy and a very witty script, this just can't stand up. I was moderately entertained but after a while it got a little tiresome.Beate wrote:Not funny enough!? And here's me thinking you were the target audience!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

What? Just Weirdy on his ownsome? I'm sure it has slightly wider appeal than just him! Lol.Beate wrote:Not funny enough!? And here's me thinking you were the target audience!

Re: 21 Jump Street
Went to the Islington Vue and the Sky people were all over phone use (anyone texted and they complained!) but enjoyed it. Having seen re-runs of the old TV show, I kept waiting for Johnny Depp to show up... :-) The film didn't take itself too seriously, which I appreciated, and it was good enough for leaving your brain at the door!

Re: 21 Jump Street
I really liked the film, but I too was surprised it wasn't laugh out loud funny. The response in the audience was quite lukewarm.
Re: 21 Jump Street
