The one thing that distracted me was how bad Roger's hair was, and he looked so much better without it so to avoid a spoiler let's just say I was disappointed by his last look!
Yes the audience laughed out loud in bits but there was a certain comedic quality to the darkness of the film that helped it on it's way and that would totally be lost in any big Hollywood remake - don't let them do it!!!
This film was a surprise and although i was pretty gripped by the different twists and turns of the plot the ending let it down - too far-fetched
all the forensic cover-ups working out so perfectly then the blanks in the gun, the exact gun that he happened to be using and finally the happy ever after scene with her being pregnante and him still working for the same firm.....naaaa
I watched this at the Mayfair Hotel. It was packed! I enjoyed the film, quite entertaining, full of action and fun. Some bits were a bit predictable, but most films are anyway. 8/10.

Back from Braehead. Interesting story and can definitely imagine Steve Buscemi as Roger Brown. Recognised Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from Firewall so can imagine him reprising the same role in English (if it ever happens) Poor Ove just reminded me of the dad from the OXO ads. Anyhoo glad I went to see it. 7/10

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

Finally got to see this tonight having avoided most reviews so far... And I really wanted to like the film but the plot holes kinda ruined it for me. Maybe the book explains things more convincingly? Plenty of mindless action to enjoy, the lead actor Aksel Hennie is really good, but no way is this in the same league as Dragon Tattoo. At a stretch 7/10.
And if you're worried about the US remake, I reckon Nesbo already had Hollywood in mind when he named the main character Roger Brown. How many Norwegians are called Roger Brown, honestly?

Not sure how many Americans are called Roger Brown either though. Lol. Much more a British name I'd say.

Saw this on Greenwich on Sunday. I was ummming and arhhing whether to go as it was such a beautiful sunny day. The screening was petty packed too.
Not really much to add about this film as most of what I would have said has been said already.
Yes, it is a subtitled film and a good thriller.
