Up
Re: Up
saw this earlier thanks to a member on here :) i loved the little cloud movie before UP like others the little ones looked at me confussed thinking is that it? i thought the story was moving and one that all will enjoy. i do generally like pixar films but i think i prefer Monsters inc to UP overall, not that i didn't like or enjoy this one and i think in 3D it would have a better impact visually. The children loved it the youngest getting all emotional at parts it was good to see a free screning with children in. the film was not what i expected from the trailer. overall i think it was as bettyboop scored 7.5/ 10 was swaying to 8 i asked the children to score it they give it a 9/10 am just happy they enjoyed the day

Re: Up
How can you all mark it down just because you didn't see it in 3D? It doesn't add that much, you know. In fact, I have never understood the fascination. I would happily watch any film in 2D. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was in 3D, and I can't for the life of me remember the difference to a 2D film!

Re: Up
Saw this yesterday in Bristol (new Showcase Deluxe in Cabot Circus - very nice cinema but found the seats a little uncomfortable as they push you too far forward so you have to keep your head right back (unless you sit very far back!)).
Really enjoyed this film and would recommend it - maybe a little too "grown up" for small kids as it's not slapstick funny but I thought the story was great. I really enjoyed the intro movie with the storks/clouds at the beginning - could've watched a film about that too!

Re: Up
Well I saw it in Cardiff yesterday and it was fantastic! I loved it and the lack of 3D didn't bother me. I assumed it would be 2D anyway as Bolt was when I saw that for free. The characters were great and I cried! Definately going to see it again when it comes out!

I saw Up yesterday at Leeds Showcase (thanks to a_person
) and loved it. I didn't actually realise that it should have been in 3D so I wasn't disappointed by the fact it wasn't! It was funny, sad (my friend actually cried at one point), and the graphics were amazing. I would definitely see this again and recommend it to everyone. The best Disney/Pixar film I have seen in a long time!!!!
An extra bonus was the short before the film - Loved it too!!
