Watched the film last night and thought it was hilarious.
Ok there were lost of holes in the plot (always going to happen in movies about going back in time) but leave your brain at home and just enjoy a very funny ride.
Just a little word of warning for anyone thinking of taking their kids or their granny - it has a lot of ADULT material in it.

Saw this yesterday at Sheffield Cineworld. I thought it was a very funny film, best comedy I've seen for quite a while (much better than Date Night which I thought was mediocre at best). I even thought it had quite a good story and charecter development which is unusual for a comedy.

This film really took me back to the 80s - Back to the Future, Weird Science, even Porky's!! It was crude in places and I am slightly ashamed to say that even some of the crude parts made me laugh!

The one thing that drew me to the film in the first place was John Cusack. I love John Cusack films and he didn't disappoint. I also loved Lou (Rob Corddry) - typical sleazy ladies man who showed that he did actually have a heart in there somewhere.

A couple of old 80s actors were brought in for the nostalgia factor - Crispin Glover (such a funny character) looking no older than he did in Back to the Future (as the younger George McFly) and Chevy Chase (looking much older - was really surprised about that), although his character didn't really seem to be there for much - I did think that they were going to explain his character a bit more. I had a feeling that he was going to be one of them that had come from the future to help them out - but no!!

Remind me never to go to preview screenings with slow walkers again.
Arrived just about on time (6.25) but got turned away.
Tried to haggle with the manager, didn't get anything other than the offer of student discounts (all three of us are students anyway). Buuuutttt.... might get my hands on the official SFF contact details they have - might come in handy...

Hmmm I wouldn't bother, I emailed them with official contact details after a similar situation and was promised faithfully if I sent my contact details they would send me free tickets to use at my leisure ... and did they arrive? ... a big fat no - despite having a named contact and repeated emails from me reminding them of their compensatory offer, poor show SFF. The guys name was Luke something or other.

Saw this today at Apollo Piccadilly. Nice comfy seats and a comfortable room. Pretty full also.
Oooh what silly fun it was! A laugh all the way though! Loved it....never got bored

Yeah, happened to me before too. The manager at the particular Odeon said he passed my details to SFF and I would get some free tickets, but in the end nothing happened. I am surprised that anyone would have got turned away as it's not such a high profile must-see film.
Although saying that the Apollo cinema was quite full. I really wanted to like the film, but it was just a good idea poorly executed. The sets, costumes, script, dialogue all looked like they were running out of budget! I love time travel films, but this must be the worst time travel film I've seen. No wonder MGM is almost bankrupt, making films like this! I did like the uplifting ending though. 5/10

Saw this at Surrey Quays. Only about 60% full and after 15-20 minutes of trailers on came......Kick-Ass!!!. They eventually apologised and changed the film to the correct one, and although there were a couple of laughs in the film, I thought it was a pretty weak. The pointless use of the F word every two seconds didn't help. The Hangover was miles better.

There was also a really annoying couple at the back who talked for the entire length of the film (no idea why they went as they didn't watch it at all), plus some teenage girls who felt the need to give a running commentary throughout.

5/10 as still better than Date Night

Saw this yesterday at Whiteleys. Not as funny as I had expected. A fun film, a bit hectic and so much swearing! 5/10
