I was really looking forward to seeing this today since I loved the series when I was a kid. Unfortunately, my bf arrived at the Apollo Picadilly Circus only at the start of the movie. We were turned away because the screening room was apparently full. :tears:

On a more positive note, we did manage to see 2 of the actors at the premiere, when we decided to go for a walk around leicester square.

Some elements were lacklustre: When it comes to the rollercoaster we call pacing, this was just downhill. The characters were as nuanced as a flying tank. The direction wasn't much better than the ideologically idiotic writing, with many of the sequences annoyingly flawed with shaky-cam who's-doing-what action, and a constant barrage of CGI.

The Apollo was indeed filled to the last seat. We had arrived shortly after 6pm and were astonished to see that some people were already sitting in the cinema screen! Still managed to get very good seats and get some reserved for 5rannoch. Tried to help people find the last remaining seats as well. Thankfully the ushers seemed to have the situation under control and prevented latecomers from wandering about and searching for non-existing seats. Ucakpam, did you get other tickets offered instead?

Anyway, what AYBG said. The story was utter BS, the action sequences ludicrously non-sensical (a flying tank anyone?), it was mildly amusing in places but all in all I let all the raa-taa-taa of the machine guns, explosions and other stuff just wash over me with no emotional involvement whatsoever except to think: what a waste of Liam Neeson and Jessica Biel. And what kind of a morale was that: so Barracus is able to kill again at the end? Great, well done mate?

Most people around me loved it but I am afraid I found the story and the over the top CGI boring.

First time ever got turned away in Sheffield as the screening was full. The manager was blaming Heat for over-subscribing (although it was probably people printing out their tickets more than once  )
I had a headache which was why I only turned up just before 6:30pm, which any other time turning up just at 6:25-6:30 wouldn't have been a problem. I just couldn't be bothered arguing about missing it & trying to get a free ticket out of them. Also, I wasn't that bothered as wasn't ever fussed about the film in the first place

No, I didn't. I overheard a couple complaining to the usher, who told them to write a complaint to the organisers of the screening. I was so disappointed that my bf pa*d for dinner and promised me he'd take me another time to the cinema to cheer me up.

Oh what a shame about the headache Elski - hope you feel better now.

Saw this in Edinburgh tonight and full there too.

Having watched this years ago was wondering how this would match up and have to say I loved it!!! We stayed for the action after the credits, which was a bit disappointing as would rather have sat and watched it again.

Yes the story was not great, yes the CGI was ott but what the heck, this is the A team and to me they were still on form.

9/10 from me

still humming the tune and no one has recognsed it yet, perhaps i should try for free singing lessons :D

I saw this tonight at Whiteleys with my oh and we both really enjoyed it as did the rest of the full cinema. Corny, maybe, but exciting, non-stop harmless fun.

Saw this at Apollo and it was absolutely packed.

It was entertaining enough, a rollercoaster of action, silly and fun, very OTT. Liam Neeson looks good though, and Bradley Cooper too, but where is Mr T's bling? The bits after the credits was quite silly too. 7/10.

Lovely to meet you at last Sunny Saver, and also nice to bump into you, 5rannoch.

Big, dumb blockbuster entertainment. Perfect for a bit of escapism after a day at work. Thought the four actors had a great rapport together. Sharlto Copley stole the show but the other three had their moments too. Glad the guest cameos were put right at the end of the credits though. I think they would have been too distracting if they'd been in the movie itself. Great fun.

Apollo was indeed packed tonight. A pity we weren't in a larger screen- I'm sure I've been in one bigger than screen 5. There were hardly any seats left when we got in there at about 6.50pm and I had to split from my friend. Sorry to hear that you didn't get in ucakpam, I thought there would be people turned away. When we walked in it looked like the ushers were keeping a close eye on the numbers.

So onto the film - And people thought Knight and Day was unrealistic! A-Team was non stop action that was very unbelievable, even for an elite alpha team like them. Have to agree with Beate that the whole storyline was BS. Found it hard to keep up with the nonsensical dialogue amid all the explosions in places.

Anyway aside from that it was still enjoyable. Thought it was well cast - even Rampage Jackson wasn't too bad as B.A and I'm glad I got to see it in the lovely surroundings of the Apollo. 7/10

I found this a chore to watch and like others have said too much CGI for me. The best thing was Sharlto Copley and Bradley Cooper was quite good as well.

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this but a disappointing 4/10 from me.
