even though im 22, im a huge fan of the original film with john wayne so seeing what theve added to the film will be intresting, however i think the western genre is prety much dead and if this is a good film i could see more westerns being made

Wow, what a wonderful film!

Did it get an Oscar nomination for 'best beards in a courtroom scene?' There were some 'mighty fine' whiskers on display!! ;) ;)

(Maybe I'm just biased about the Coen brothers?)

Saw this last week and felt a little disappointed. Both husband ( Western addict) and I preferred the original overall but applaud Maddie's performance - quite a star. Matt Damon's added role did not fit too well for us.
