The actual price for the room was $25, not $27. They're calculating the bell hop's tip as part of what the 3 of them p*y towards to room, but it's separate and not divided by 3

An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to b*y something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man b*ght straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second b*ght some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man b*ght two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man b*ght?

Light will fill the room. So one of the thing is a match and the other a candle?

Ben was bragging about his hunting ability at the local bar. He recalled a time when he was hunting in the mountains, when he suddenly came across a panther, a mountain lion, and a puma, all at the same time. Knowing he had only one bullet, and his life hung in the balance, he took careful aim and killed all three with just one shot. Jerry knows this is possible, but does not seem impressed by Ben's talented shot. Why not?
