No.... maybe I am being cynical, but alot of the things offered by SFF recently have been quite "leftfield" so to speak, ie not many people would go anyway...

Went to see Daisy Pulls it Off at the Lyric yesterday by the LAMDA graduates. Theatre was mostly empty but it was really good, the graduates got into their roles really well and was fab, entertaining, tongue in cheek stuff. Though did get caught in in a ridiculous deluge of rain afterwards which put a bit of a dampener on the day (no pun intended. Alright maybe just a tad)

I guess nobody bothered with that then... In the event description I saw the words Mick Jones and The Clash, and got excited for a millisecond, then realised it was something else.

Someone should tell them their link is broken... "Click here for this offer" takes you nowhere.

I wanted to go, but I didn't manage to find anyone to accompany me, and I didn't feel like going by myself...

I don't have time for a longer review but we saw "Daisy Pulls it Off" yesterday at the Lyric Theatre performed by the Lamda students and it was excellent! The tickets are free (but one has to book) and they have a few more performances in the next few days (one is today). :star:

PS.: Details were in the free concert and theatre ticket thread not long ago, posted by cliveas, I think.

Did you guys go to the matinee too? Never usually get to do matinees. There wasn't many people so may have spotted you depending where your seats were, I was in row G which was a teensy bit close but good view, haven't been to the Lyric in ages. The stairs were really effective and was really impressed.
