anyone keen on Shrek the Musical? The trailer looks bloody awful. Like that awful Lord of the Rings musical, terribly debasing the parent material. Perhaps I'm wrong on about it.
I think i need to resist that part of me that wants to see a new Shrek.

I actually went to see Shrek 2 weeks ago and it was disappointing.
The sets and stage production are brilliant but the singing and acting were quite poor, tbh.
Amanda Holden was bloody annoying and Richard Blackwood was pretty lame as Donkey.

I don't think that's a trailer of the UK production, they look nothing like Nigel Harman and Amanda Holden.

i am tempted though. its shrek after all, and £15, i think KI've spent that much on the movies so its justifiable to spend it again on the last ever shrek thing.

theatre monkey has quite a bit on shrek already! but I can do with more info!
I'm off to see shrek mid june with the school and lot's of children... all booked and pa*d from last November. ...
and I haven't chosen my own seats for shrek yet! I do the seating
Please share your experience about first couple rows of stalls B onwards (sides, unfortunately...) if you end up there, and first couple rows of dress circle (also B onwards, sides 
....) I now need to choose the seats where MY kids can enjoy it the most, so need insider information
