You really think so? I mean, they accepted my driver's licence (a South African one at that). I'm sure they would have accepted an NI Number card, a debit/credit card, a photocard..heck, anything with your name on it.

Yes, though my first thought was the opposite, i.e. a lot of tickets had changed hands and the new holders were worried about not having ID in the original name so didn't risk it.

I'm genuinely starting to believe now that Warner Bros only allocated a minute number of tickets for the TDKR screenings - clearly not the full theater capacity. That's the only possible explanation for the vast number of empty seats in all the locations.

The cinema yesterday for TDKR were told they actually allocated 300 more tickets than the venue took. The cinema was by no means full! I agree that Ted was fuller! Very weird!

I had a ticket for TED and Batman at the same cinema. I went to see TED and gave a work colleague the Batman ticket, he was asked to show ID which of course he could not also he was then asked to use his phone to call me to prove that the ticket was genuine. He left his phone at home because of the threat of it being confiscated, however he got in by saying that i was his father in law (he is a good salesperson, so that was quick thinking but expected of such an occupation).
I just handed my TED ticket in no questions asked.
The film i saw should have forgotten the ROM COM bits and just gone for the other much funnier parts, it really had potential but held itself back.
Batman was reported back to me as being excellent and brilliant. GOT that wrong then, but at least we both got in.

Went to see this at Wimbledon. It didnt live up to the hype but had some funny bits. 6/10

I saw this at Odeon Greenwich on Tuesday, got there about 6.10pm and it had already started. Quite annoying but we just decided to sit down. At the end we spoke to a supervisor who said that the cinema had told SFF that the film needed to start at 6pm so it was their fault for not informing ticket holders.

FBS, did you decide to see the film in the end? Odeon are lying if they are saying that the screening was full. People were walking in at 6.45pm! Even when the last person walked in it was no more than 60/70% full. That is a different reason to what was given on the day when they were blaming SFF for not acting on the timing change. Personally, I think Odeon are the ones in the wrong here.

I liked the film, a lot of jokes are in poor taste but I can sit through an episode of Family Guy without changing the channel so I knew I'd find some, if not all funny. I liked the three main leads (inc Ted!) and thought they did a good job. Nice nostalgic moments with references to Teddy Ruxpin. Overall, I thought it was worth watching even though it was annoying to miss the beginning. 7/10.

Saw this in Glasgow Cineworld. It was very much oversubscribed with at least a dozen people without any seats.

Film was just so much fun. Very silly at times and pretty much spot the cameos but who cares! I just loved the humour and the storyline was reasonable. 7/10

Saw this tonight at Shaftesbury Avenue. My first time there. No air conditioning! Boiling hot!! But I enjoyed the film. Really silly, but it was just what I needed!

Add another 3 to that, a woman turned up with her kids who must of only been about 10! No idea how she got passed the door but they had to leave after staff told them it was a 15.

got more enjoyment from laughing at the people in the audience who found every single line of dialogue hilarious. (you know who you are...nottingham screening, tonight)

okay-ish comedy, some real bum notes though. a lowlight for me was the "saturday night fever" parody...didn't "airplane!" do this 30 years ago?

on a side note, the idea that mark warlberg / his character is immensely attractive just passes me by. that said, i am a straight male, so perhaps not in the ideal position to judge.

....also, is mila kunis starting to look a bit skanky? quite liked her "black swan"

ps, the fight scene went down like a lead balloon. utterly mis-judged.

score, 6/10, better than TDKR.
