Surprised to have laughed from start to finish with this movie

Although Sandra Bullock was surpassed by her co-star in the humour stakes

Made use of a few free tickets after the Sky screening was cancelled last month... erm, yeah! I've seen far far better. Maybe in my eyes it was a victim of the generally large praise it's had on this site, so I had much higher expectations.
I liked Sandra Bullock in this, I really didn't like Melissa McCarthy. Marlon Wayans (who IS actually funny) was completely underused. Why cast an actual comedian in a comedy, but give them no actual comedic input? I laughed a few times, but I was generally disappointed, even yawning a few times.

Finally got around to seeing this! Not very funny I only laughed a few times, maybe that was because the cinema was empty bar a few people, because when other people laugh you want to!

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
