Oh my goodness, I thought this film was fab.. All the way through, CZJ was beautiful and my new mission in life is to find a chap identically like Justin (didn't he look like Vernon Kay). Did think the little girl grew up looking a bit rough though.

Anyway I would go watch this film 10 times over, I cried like a baby and left the cinema with tremendous warm fuzzy feelings inside. Defo a one for DVD me thinks 10/10

I love romCom, but this is not upto my expectation. I did enjoy some of the funny scene like the self-defense class :D , the daughter always torturing the boy (vomit scene... hillarious!!) and when the boy wake up to see his mom and the guy in the living room... peeing?? hahaha. but the ending.... too easy and cheesy. but CZJ is as beautiful as always!!!

5/10 film for me! HAVE A NICE WEEKEND everyone

Saw this last week with a friend, and we enjoyed a girlie catch-up followed by this girlie film. We both enjoyed it, and thought that it had enough modern and interesting touches and twists to be thoroughly entertaining.
There were several laugh-out-loud moments for me, and there was a great atmosphere in the cinema.
I thought the kids were great, and had some really funny moments.
I hadn't seen many films with CZJ and I was impressed with her performance. The male lead is probably many girls' idea of the perfect man - to the extent of being a bit over the top sometimes (I mean, travelling the world and saving the poor, and adopting an African child!)
(I giggled a bit at that bit probably because I'd only seen Get Him To The Greek two nights earlier!)
I thought it was a sweet romance, but I did find the ending (including all the travelling around the world) a bit tacked-on and forced. It was nice to have a happy ending, but it didn't really work for me.

7/10

Overall: 6.7/10

I watched this last week at Covent Garden (managed to get off work early again  ), I think it was not bad. I didn't expect much from the film because I knew it wouldn't be the usual Rom-Com that I would like. Okay it's bad for me to pre-judge the film based on it being CZJ (sorry not a fan but she still does look sexy!) though I did generally enjoy it. I think the ending was weird/fake...
can you be away from each other for 5 years and it was a BAD break up, then you bump into eachother again and hold hands under the table...?!
I quite liked Justin Bartha's character eventhough he was a nerd and his friend was nerd-ier ahaha (couldn't stop LOLZ when he randomly makes humping actions!)
I think this film is definitely for the girls!

Directed by Bart Freundlich
Starring: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Justin Bartha

Plot: Sandy, upon discovering her husband's infidelity while watching her son's birthday video, leaves the suburbs and moves into the city. She gets an apartment that's above a coffee house where she befriends one of the workers, Aram, a guy whose wife only married him so she could get a green card. Aram's family thinks he's wasting his life and education by working in the coffee house. Soon after moving into the apartment, Sandy hires Aram to be her nanny while she takes on work for the first time since her children where born. It isn't long when Aram and Sandy find they get along wonderfully and start to date. But the question is: is their relationship real or is it, in fact, just a rebound for both of them?

Saw this in Cardiff tonight. It's a shame they only gave one code for this viewing as the cinema was half empty.
I really enjoyed this as a rom com. I thought Catherine Zeta was funny and so were the children, and shocking at times! Justin had such a nice character and he played it so well. I felt the ending was a little abrupt but I'm glad it ended the way it did. I would recommend it!

Have to agree with splodgy (love the name by the way :p ) even the low turn out at Vue York. To be honest i had really low expectations for this film but was pleasantly surprised. Very moving in parts and funny too. As mentioned the ending was a bit abrupt but didn't really need to say anything else, very sweet. An 8/10 for me

Loved it, loved it loved it! What a great film! CZJ looked beautiful and yes I think Justin was a bit over the top in terms of being the 'dream guy' but I don't care, I just enjoyed the way it all came together. Maybe I wasn't expecting much but I would happily watch it again. 8.5/10.

The new Vue Westfield definitely looks great - fantastic leg room and air conditioning. I think Vues are my favourite cinema chain although I did get a shock that Vue Greenwich has changed to cineworld! Are we discussing that change anywhere or is no one really bothered??
