Saw this tonight in Glasgow. Seated near Yinster + OH and ploggit.
I must admit I loved it. Daft . . . yes! Crude . . . yes! Funny . . . yes!
Ted was wonderful . . . I can now understand why stuartboy wanted one after last week's viewing! I want a TED!!! :pls:
Seth MacFarlane's voice of TED was good and perfectly matched the animation for TED's face and expressions.
Mark Wahlberg was not very impressive and definitely played second to TED!
Mila Kunis looked like someone in need of medical attention! Her head is disproportionate to her height. She is way to thin!
I suppose the only negative I would have is that I would have preferred less reference to drug use.
One thing is for sure, this is NOT a film for children of any age :nono: . . . definitely for the 15+ age group. In some ways, it's a shame 'cause I think little ones will see the trailer and will be drawn to the film. I would think there could be scope for making a family film using TED!

Marks 8.5/10

I did a double-take. I thought that was Captain America-bear.

Saw this last night at Cineworld on Shaftesbury Avenue with the wife. Was quite surprised at how empty the screening was, maybe slightly over half full. Guessing the hot weather put most people off. 2 things annoyed me about the screening, a) the room was boiling which made it very uncomfortable nearer the end and b) for some reason it seemed that they'd left the screen doors open and we were getting very loud sound bleeding from the screen next door which made it hard to hear the dialogue from our screening!

Apart from that, I thought the movie itself was brilliant. Loved all the little references and 2 bits (near the end of the film) made me laugh so much it hurt. It was a good sign that on the bus home my wife and I were still giggling about different bits of the movie and I'm stilling smiling at parts now. Would happily see again :-)

On a last note, has anyone else noticed that it seems impossible to film a movie in boston without either showing or filming part of it in Fenway Stadium :-p

Saw this last night in Enfield. Predictable, funny film, just what you need sometimes to unwind and not think too much.

FBS, did you decide to see the film in the end? Odeon are lying if they are saying that the screening was full. People were walking in at 6.45pm! Even when the last person walked in it was no more than 60/70% full. That is a different reason to what was given on the day when they were blaming SFF for not acting on the timing change. Personally, I think Odeon are the ones in the wrong here.
The guy on the door just said it had already started, but we were welcome to go in even though it had been running for nearly 30 minutes. Odeon emailed back to say they had to start it early as the cinema was full to capicity - which is very obviously wrong as you mention.

Saw it last night at Shaftesbury Avenue. Think I sweated my body weight in that cinema - no air con at all. Also the cinema had some seats free. Had to tell a young lad next to me to switch his phone off as well.
The film is ok, but I wanted more. It just didn't live up to the trailer and the expectations I had based on it being Seth MacFarlane. It's funny, and there are some brutal jokes but its very few and far between.

Saw this at a full house at cineworld last night. It was crude, silly but funny. Wouldn't watch it again but stuartboy obviously enjoyed it as he was there last night watching it for the second time. Ted should have been called nookie bear as he seemed obsessed with it even though he could only use a parsnip!!

I saw Ted in Cardiff last night, cinema was full appart from about 5 seats. I thought it was very funny and typical Family Guy humour. We were right at the front but luckily the screen is quite far back from the front seatIs.
