According to the papers, next week the freezing weather is to start again. Possibly lasting 3 months!!!

To the middle of April? I kind of doubt that. To be honest, most weather people can't even give a week's forecast properly so such statements are to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I can now see grass on my estate, thank you rain!

The snow has all gone and at least I’ll be able to wear lady shoes when I go out tonight, might even throw on a frock too. 3 weeks of wearing wellies/walking boots is enough I think.

I hope it doesn't return on the day when I've re-scheduled my long-overdue haircut, or I won't be able to see out for much longer! But I've been very cautious about booking theatre tickets, just in case.

It has been snowing here today in Durham, but it was only a half-hearted attempt. However, the gritters have been out. :tears:

light snow if Fife today. Sun shining in Edinburgh and thought I would hang washing out to dry, but it was like a board when I lifted it in. Could not fold it :roll:
