I'm started to watch the Band of Brothers on Blu Ray but my war fanatical friend lent me the box set pressuring me to watch it. First episode was captivating mostly because of David Schwimmer's performance as an overly tough sergeant, he pretty much stole the "show". I have a feeling he wont appear again which is a pity but his story seems to have finished. The first episode is just pure exposition without any war scenes at all so I look forward to watching the second episode as the story picks up.

George Romero's "The Crazies" on the recommendation of Mark Kermode. Actually quite enjoyed it, there are a few pacing problems and you can clearly see its low budget but I think for the most part it's quite overlooked, a great film on the effects of a behaviour-changing virus. One of the first films of its kind, unless I'm mistaken...

This is the original "Crazies", from 1973.

I watched Knowing. Made me pretty angry, especially the last half hour or so. Last scene was spectacularly ridiculous.
I should have known better. After all, it has Nicholas Cage in it.
