FYI for anyone using the Times coupons to see this next sunday.

You will need 3D glasses as they are not included in the offer. If you kept your glasses from previous 3D movies then they will do or saturdays times will include 3D glasses. Otherwise you will have to b*y from the box office.

She said 1 or 2 sentences in Portuguese. That's it.

Thanks to ejwrank, I managed to attend the screenings at Empire with the neighbour's kid. My OH and I always have a soft spot for cutesy animation (me all my life and managed to turn my OH into one too :D ). We LOVE the movie. We laughed a lot, and felt the movie is quite fast. And the songs, loved it (heard the Samba song in American Idol last Thursday...). And it definitely didn't hurt to get all the goodies, photos, balloons and face painting. And the popcorn. And the nice free tix at the back of the newspaper. Thinking of spreading the love to a friend and her kid, the free tix will surely make them happy! just surprise they only use the Screen 2... really small
It's and easy 9 of 10 from us..... nite nite all

ps: We love Jesse as Blu but I also found it a bit weird Anne as a Brazilian Macaw with no accent at all (I thought she had it when they 1st met in the lab..... then the accent just disappeared). I couldn't really tell on accent, even she pretended to speak in Spanish accent, I would be please.
I agree with you Wolverina! I really liked the movie, although they should have spoken a bit more in portuguese, just to make the mood more "Brasilian"... I found a bit awkward a kid from the Favelas speaking such a good english :p!

These are the timings for the Rio vouchers for Sunday 10 April before 5pm:
Cineworld WIQ + Greenwich: 11:40, 14:00, 16:20. Greenwich is a bit more expensive so you are saving more there, LOL.

I really liked this! Yes ok it's not super original, but it was so colourful and pretty. Blu as a baby macaw shaking his tail-feather in the tree made me MELT, awwwwwwwww! Liked Tracey Jordan as Luis the bulldog. I initially thought that Blu was voiced by Michael Cera, I think he and Jesse Eisenberg sound vaguely similar.
8/10 from us!
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

Out of curiousity's sake, how easy would it be to accidentally end up in the wrong screen if one became confused? I have a pair of vouchers that I was thinking of passing on to some elderly acquaintances, but having never been to the O2 Cineworld, I have no idea what the layout there is like.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I'd say stick to WIQ, at least they display the film names on the door, LOL. Greenwich has two levels, once you are on one, you are probably home and dry, but as I said - you don't know what's playing where.
