I would recommend you give the second one a strong hard miss. It does continue from that one, but you won't be in the dark as there isn't much of a plot to speak of in part 3 anyway.

If you can, I would also strongly recommend you watch this one in 3D. It's one of the few flicks that actually looks a whole lot better with the added dimension. Michael Bay's team really did a fantastic job with the visual effects & the ear-shattering sound.

Why Michael Bay why? The script for this was so diabolically bad I actually found myself CRINGING. And as others have said, I hate the fact that Sam Whitwicky has turned into such a self satisfied bastard - "don't you know I've saved the world twice?". Ugh.

its hard to believe patrick dempsey and malkovich agreed to act in their prospective potty roles. highyl embarrassing (though malkovich is developing a history of embarrassing roles at present).
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Used my wowcher ticket to see this today in 2D. Saw a trailer for Reel Steel with Hugh Jackman which I can't wait to see!

This movie is much better than the second one but it was a lot slower and could have done with cutting out a few scenes. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gave a pretty poor performance but the rest of the cast was good. I agree with the others who thought Sam had turned into a prat which made it difficult to sympathise even though I know several graduates without jobs currently. Several things as usual didn't make sense as is common with these big action movies but it really was a lot of mindless fun which I enjoyed!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley from T 3 deserves a medal

#140 Post by moviemoments » Sat Jul 30, 2011 10:31 pm

Rosie Huntington from Transformers 3 deserves a medal for running around in high heels shoes in the middle of the war with decepticons. That was crazy. Who had the idea to give her high heels and make her run around in them? But mind you she managed to change it couple of times for flat shoes in the same scene. lol Was it just me or someone else spoted that? :D
