Interesting little article in The Guardian about how Bret Mackenzie wrote the songs for the new film:

If the songs are anywhere close to the Conchords stuff then they will be awesome, witty, catchy and frequently hilarious.

At first I thought it was going to be a straight Conchords shoot out in the Best Song Oscar category, but I don't think Jermaine was involved in the Rio song.

Actually they ARE awesome, witty, catchy and frequently hilarious. I was honestly surprised - even if I love Flight of the Conchords and consider them as little geniuses, I didn't know they were able to write that well.

I'm not a fan of eBay but OMG so many amazing Muppet watches on that page! *grabby hands*

This one in particular is amazing (shame there's fake diamonds all around it though, I don't like sparkly jewelery)

Haha, I was thinking the same for this one and the Kermit one.

I don't like eBay for the insecurity of being overbid at the last moment, Amazon is safe though. (you'd need a credit card though)

But I think I may hold out until I am going to Disneyland in a few months (which is where I got my current watch from), hoping they still have lots of Muppets merch then. I like to see something in person before b*ying it, and haven't seen Muppet watches in store here yet.
