I saw this last night, really enjoyed it. I liked the way it didn’t take itself seriously and had funny bits in it (I loved the guy in the turban with the ostrichs). I thought Jake was lush and had a good English accent. I’ve seen Gemma Arterton in the Bond film and didn’t rate her, but I thought she was good in this. I’m not normally that fussed with action films, but after seeing this and Ironman 2 I’m starting to change my mind, I hope they make a sequel.
9/10.

It's a passable summer blockbuster isn't it? The action's very good, but the side characters are all pretty unmemorable. It's got an interesting storyline for a film based on a computer game. The lady who introduced the film said it's from the guy who made Four Weddings and a funeral so he should know what he's doing  Those 2 films couldn't be any further apart!! She probably should have mentioned Harry Potter. 7/10

Maybe I'm the only one but I thought this was ok but quite rubbish. I was quite looking forward to seeing this and normally like gyllenhall and arterton but I didn't find they had much chemistry and thought the story was a bit all over the place. But if you expect little and switch off your brain it's not bad, 5/10.

it was bad, in the manner of Prince of Thieves and Underworld. It certainly wasnt no Con Air. just good fun bad.

tis a pity that they cant make 'good fun bad' blockbusters like this, but with extra layers (like the Matrix was or Inception will be, i am guessing), instead of being so one dimensional.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I pa*d to see this (albeit it was 2-4-1) and I wasn't too impressed. Wonder what I would have thought if I had made it to the Sky screening...I think I'm a lot more forgiving and generous when I've seen it as a free preview. Would be interested in seeing any sequel, I am a fan of Jake. 6.5/10 for me (would have probably got an extra point if I hadn't pa*d, lol)
