I will rest now. I am totally exhausted. And very hot. God it was so hot. I dont think I ever drank so much in one day in my life. Thank you so much everyone. Sorry for the numerous updates but its all you girls encouragement that was powering me on ;)

Before I sign of 19 of us completed this epic from original 50 runners at the start. My friend Geoff, called it a day at the 5th which actually a brilliant achievement for him. So my other friend Nico and I, gritted the rest through, managing to average each 5km run at around 29 mins. We naturally did a high five...then collapsed to the ground. Then one of organisers brought us a couple of bottles of very chilled beer ;) That's the only time I will ever mention beer positively ;)

Tomorrow then, lets roll on the the progress chart, Any of you divulge your height, age, weight, body fat for now, I will determine for you a healthy intermediate target loss of body fat and weight. If you dont want me to display the figures on the chart just let me know. Its enough to just have your progress changes ;)

Alright everyone here we go, this is as much info I can collate. Our FMUK Motivation Fitness Progress Chart has returned!

Girls, I need more data. But that's fine. Just have a look at the chart and let me at least know your goals and weight to show completion.

Everyone is a winner this week. The fact you are on the chart has already showed immense progress to health and fitness.

But Valda just pips everyone to the top (despite the clotted cream sandwich schock) by kitting herself out with a body fat scales, weighed up, submitted stats and just began a new gym membership...you are going to kick some serious ass!

Havingascreen, well done with your Race for Life, b*y the scales so you can start guaging your progress :)

Diane, as usual you;re always ready to go, I'll find a good set of resistance bands for you.

Aruif, you're full of energy! Just a matter of focusing that energy effectively now ;)

Rawr_oxo, you're hard working and you have a fine goal to maintain but get your self measured so you can guage yourself too.

Well done everyone, great start. I'll post up a program for all of you with some individual modifications. Also, I'll post up a typical diet menu I was on early in my journey which you can all use as a guideline.

Could you consider b*ying yourself a bodyfat scales for £20, which Valda found on the net? She gave a link to it in her post a few days ago. If that's out of your budget, then get yourself a tape measure and we'll use the below formula as a guage.

When measuring yourself, make sure you do so at consistent times every fortnight. The best time is when you wake up in the morning.

BODY FAT CALCULATION FOR WOMEN
T = Total Body weight
A = (T x 0.732) + 8.987
B = Wrist measurement (at fullest point) / 3.140
C = Waist measurement (at naval) x 0.157
D = Hip measurement (at fullest point) x 0.249
E = Forearm measurement (at fullest point) x 0.434
F = Lean Body Mass = A+B-C-D+E
G = Body Fat Weight = T-F

Body Fat Percentage = (G x 100) / T

This is not neccessarily accurate but that does not matter, it will always be consisitence and is good enough to mark guage your progress.
