We have Olympic Park day pass which also gives us access to basketball at the O2 & also Athletics tickets in the evening.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

these prices are pretty awesome, it lets us paupers a chance to check out the Lympics for once!

I'm confused... don't have a TV and trying to watch the opening ceremony here http://paralympics.channel4.com/video/index.html
and at the moment this a focus on an athlete... wasn't it supposed to all start at 8pm?

OMG Prof Stephen Hawkin is opening it! Legendary, thats one up on Bradley Wiggins.

I shouldda gone to Big Screen to see this.

I won tickets for Saturday's athletics and also Grandstand tickets for 10 September for the athletes' Parade.

Yeah, much better than the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

My twin 10-year old cousins are there watching. The little girl told me she was going and was concerned about the time it started 'it's at dinner time, what am I going to eat?!!!' :mrgreen:

yep its amaziiing. I am glad I am seeing one at home actually.

I do like the way this one is embracing science/future, as opposed to the historical/arty one of the Olympics. Very clever move to dissociate it from all the British colonial history/Royals fiasco, and pointing forward to the future, that already puts it one up on the previous Opening ceremony, so full marks and well done the girl/guy who thought of that.
