Wish I'd thought of that, as had I left even slightly earlier, I could probably have got there in time despite the travel delays. And my manager had even said he'd have sent me home earlier but for the fact that my colleague was stuck doing something (with which I couldn't help) so it wouldn't have been fair to let me go and not her.

Shall have to content myself with reading the next batch of reviews later and this will be the last preview.

Turned up at Cardiff Odeon at 6 to be told that the screening was full! Since when was it suppose to be starting before 6.30?

Had it actually started? I have noticed people turning up earlier and earlier but that is crazy! I hope you complain and get a voucher or something.

Thanks se7en - I am going to email paramount screening and see what they will do about it. I thought perhaps there may have been an email or something saying it was starting earlier, but I had no email. I couldn't have got there any earlier because I normally go to screenings straight from work. I was looking forward to see the film.

Oh dear, I hope paramountpreviews aren't overallocating tickets like SFF.

Full at 6pm? That is ridiculously early.

I too got turned away from Cardiff at 6.

I was told that screenings are "normally over subscribed" and if we want to make sure we get in we should "arrive at 5.30".
I've been to many screenings, even in the Odeon and they won't let you in until at least 6!

Awful!

That's ridiculous, wait for an hour just standing around waiting to get in? So what is next? Get there at 4.30 to make sure?

I've never been to a screening that is full 30 mins from the screening time

This is Paramounts first screening too :nono:

The Odeon are pretty awful for their free screenings. A few years ago I got turned away as I was "late". Arriving at 6.25!!

We were eating in one of the restaurants which were painfully slow!

Let me know how you get on with your letter of complaint, I may just write one too!

If you look at the Paramount Previews T&Cs on their website it keeps mentioning Showfilmfirst.

It looks like SFF have set up a separate website to push Paramount movies.

They should know what they're doing by now!
