Was at Wimbledon tonight and it was packed.

Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It did start off a tad slow but by the middle I was in fits of laughter. Just what I needed after work. I really enjoyed it and am going to recommend it to my friends. 7/10

I have to say I was rather disappointed in this. Expected it to be funnier and though it did get better in the middle and some seemed to find it hilarious it just didn't do a lot for me.

Passable but not one I would recommend to friends to go and see. 6/10

I was beginning to think only tilly and I saw this tonight. It had a very slow start and the whole thing was quite a mixed bag of funny and poor parts. I have come to the conclusion that the girls were quite good and the boys were quite bad. Some of the ideas and gadgets were ok but overall it wasn't one I'd recommend.

Saw this in Edinburgh tonight and despite all the hype/advertising of this film not as busy as I thought.

What can I say, some laugh outloud moments, liked the three actors. Will I remember the film long. Not really. Would I go see it again. No. Saw Marigold again this week and would give it 10/10 again. Thought I would give this an 8 but though some more and compared to the other films I have seen better make it a 6.5/10.

Was at Braehead in Glasgow tonight film started 6:30 on the dot .....erm no it did but it stopped after about what 30 seconds and the lights came back on then we waited and waited and eventually about 6:50 it started again whoohoooo erm nooooo! wait! stopped after about what 30 seconds and the lights came back on then we waited and waited they said they were trying there best to get it going and if it didn't they would let us see another film thankfully at 7:15 it finally came on and stayed on was just about to leave and i heard someone say it's on now we ran back in and got seated i must admit was getting impatient took me about 15 minutes to get into the film but so glad i didn't miss it, Yes it was silly and pointless but we really really enjoyed it, laughed a lot at the scene with the paintings and laughed a lot at other parts too cinema was only about 50% full shame for those who missed out :D a solid 7/10 from me and oh really liked it too

I was in Braehead as well (didn't notice you cheeksdevil!) and while waiting/hoping for film to start, managed to have a chat to my sister-in-law and her OH. (They'd been to see BEMH on Monday and loved it!) I have to say that I found This Means War to be quite funny in parts although the story kind of lost direction at one point. It took a long time for the "Baddies" to re-appear! I would not be desperate to see this again and would find it difficult to recommend to many people . . . some, yes, though! Film passed a very windy evening!

Another one who spent way too long waiting in Braehead and I kinda wish I hadn't bothered. Predictable and glossy, extremely McG. I did like the paintings bit however.
The good FMUKer in me was hoping they'd chuck us out, give us free tickets for something else and then i'd go see this next week at another preview....

I'm always glad to get free tickets, but it's not a film I'd want to have pa*d to see. The first 20 minutes were really slow, and although the overall idea is quite funny, it wasn't that well executed. It did get better in the middle - the script certainly improved and there were a few laughs - but overall I can't think of anyone I know that I would recommend this to. Problem might be that I was lucky enough to see BEMH recently and I would watch that again tomorrow, so this seemed poor by comparison.

Were you in the cinema to the right in Wimbledon? Those were the only people who seemed to be laughing really hard!

To be honest, I liked Tom Hary (I always like Tom Hardy) but beside it being incredibly predictable (I so called Tom Hardy would end up with the ex-wife, as she wasn't painted as an evil shrew), I found it really hard to root for people who were being dishonest. Not that there's anything wrong with dating around, but lying about it kind of ruined the Reese Witherspoon character for me and I kept thinking that no one in the movie was a grown up.

So teenagers will love it.
