Yes boys it was a big fat let down, just too damn perfect for my liking BUT that could be because it WAS modeled on a fairy tale and they always have happy endings?? :D
Hey, I was happy that
she ended up single. Much better than the traditional fairy tale
As stated, Charlize Theron was a powerhouse and Kristen Stewart was ok, but not great. Despite the multitude of jokes that had been made before the movie opened about Charlize Theron would NEVER be jealous of Kristen Stewart's beauty, it made more sense in the context of the movie that Charlize would be drop dead gorgeous while Kristen was the nice girl next door.

I liked it overall, really liked that they went dark and veered away from damsels in distress, but I thought Prince William was a totally unnecessary character....

I think I worked out why I really didn't like this film. Once Upon A Time is so much better and I cared about those characters in the tv series than any of the characters in this. Gennifer Goodwin's Snow White is more bonny and fairest than Kirsten Stewart's. Comparing cast the tv series is much better.

Prince William wasn't unnecessary, he was eye candy :D

Yinster, while I agree that OUAT is better, it's in a whole different league really combining the fairytale stories with "real life stories". I loved the forests from SWATH, absolutely gorgeous.

definitely the superior SW film this year but lacking the ambition and ingredients of Tale of Terror, Once Upon A Time (tv series) and the Fables comics.

Visually stunning, although thats fast becoming a trademark cliche for big fantasy films these last few years. Its often all they are.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Whilst I didnt really think it was a blokes film, I dragged OH and we saw this last Monday.
I loved Charlize Theron and thought the dwarves were fun... however overall I didnt think it quite as gritty as they had made it out to be. For £3 a ticket tho, I enjoyed it enough.

charlize is quite scary in this! one of the few 'hot' actresses who can put in a decent performance. reminded me of Jadis from Narnia.

Warner green-lights Snow White sequel

After a strong opening weekend in excess of $55 million Stateside, it should come as no surprise that Warner Bros. are looking to fast-track a sequel to their fairy tale epic, Snow White And The Huntsman.

According to Deadline, the studio has commissioned David Koepp to write a follow-up script, picking up where the first film left off. The film certainly seems to leave the door open for a sequel, and Warner have clearly seen enough earning potential to make it happen.

Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth are both optioned for two more outings, so we can expect to see them filling the leading roles once more, although whether director Rupert Sanders returns remains to be seen.

What sequel? The Brothers Grimm never wrote a sequel! Sacre bleu.

SWATH wasn't exactly the same story as the Grimm one to begin with ;)
