Re: Weight Watchers
BB! Don't be so hard on yourself! Well done for losing a pound again. It's so hard, especially this time of year. Plus it's bound to happen that there are ups as well as downs.
You're doing great!!!

Re: Weight Watchers
I gave up with the weight watchers meetings and decided to do it on my own instead because the meetings are on Monday nights and they always seem to clash with other stuff I wanted to do like the previews, but so far I've lost 1 stone and 3lbs, but I've got quite alot more to go!!!!

Re: Weight Watchers
I had a big hiccup a couple of weeks ago where I went out, had a few drinks and pizza hut
but really enjoyed it. I found it helped in the long run, I stick to it better if I have things to look forward to, although I have to be careful that Christmas doesn't turn into one big party, going to have a treat a couple of days and then be good the rest of the time, fingers crossed

Re: Weight Watchers
If anything, now is the time to start dieting! Best to prepare yourself for the onslaught of unavoidable calorie landslide that is xmas. Then come new year, you just need to shed the xmas blues. When you think of doing something, just do it, dont plan a date to start it. That's my motto though I know its easier said than done!nicolewright wrote:I was thinking of dieting but what with christmas coming and our christmas party ( 5 courses, apparently) I think I will have to start in the new year!
I have started dieting myself 2 weeks ago, and have lost 3kg so far because I have been also doing a lot of walking (I walk everywhere I go as much as possible), gym and sports. The key for me was to record the calories of every single thing I ate. It was amazing to find how much unnecessary calories I was eating, from too much fruit juice to spreads on rolls. I manage to cut my daily intake by 1000 calories without feeling hungry and keeping to the recommended 2500 calorie intake for men. I've still a fair bit to go with my goal but I'm in the zone, I'm enjoying it and its so far making me feel good.
Well, I've a growing suspicion that this thread is a girls only thread!, So I'm outta here
