Went to watch this with a group of 20 mates last night and the majority of us loved it maybe cos we had heard it was rubbish so were not expecting much ..... the only (actor) character i reckon could have been better was BA the others did a very good job. Very entertaining stuff shouldnt compare to much to the original otherwise you wont enjoy it as much. i wud give it a 7/10

spoiler alert so dont read on if you havent seen it!!!

We all stayed to the end for the after the credits bit ....dont think it was worth it .... i wonder why they didnt get all 4 of em back for the ending!!

Anybody notice how many Mercedes cars appear in this movie? You'd think there's only one car maker in Germany! One of the most obvious product placements I've seen lately...

I was a little disappointed with this.
I grew up watching the ATeam & still catch it on repeats occasionally as a guilty pleasure.
The film version didn't catch the feel of the series and as much as I appreciate updates, I actually liked Miami Vice despite no shoulder pads or rolled up sleeves, if they'd taken out the character names this could have been any other popcorn actioner.
Yes there was some great lines...perhaps not enough.
Yes there were lots of guns...but too many bullets that actually hit. What happened to indiscriminate firing and not being able to hit anything except car tyres.

And whats with the ridiculous over the top CGI finish!!! Totally ruined the film for me.All those falling containers and swinging on cranes pleeeeeese...

haven't really noticed the Mercedes thedude but everyone was wearing aviator shades or some sort, most likely ray-ban's. decent advertising right...

If you have to guess what the product is, that's not really stellar advertising. I noticed a lot of shoes. Maybe they were Nikes.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

in parts good fun - eg. flying tank?

murdock was the only one of the A Team who emulated his 80s actor. The new Face was seriously off target - Face was a soft spoken guy, not a yelling goon (its a pity Bradley Cooper didnt do the soft spoken version, because it would have been a perfect foil for the other louder characters in the team, and the other thing is HE CAN do it well, like he did in ALIAS for years).
BA = utterly different.

you could say that this film is a reload, not a remake, and that excuses the poor similarity to the old one.

5/10 and thats generous.

opas wrote:^^Yes I agree, I don't know why these films put these little teasers at the end of the credits, most people will miss it and that is a shame. I also stayed until the end so got to see it but I don't always feel the urge to sit through 5 minutes of rolling credits to maybe get something at the end. If they insist on doing that, it would be nice if they gave viewers a little heads up that it's not quite over then people can decide if they still want to rush off.
I don't mind staying after the credits, trouble is most people can't wait to get up and out. Happened the other night, my friend was getting his stuff together, neither of us in a rush, and the people on the other side of him were sittin watching the credits. However the ones on the other side of me were itching to get out and in the end we had to go before we were ready. If you wan't to leg it out quickly, don't sit in the middle of the row!
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Oh no! I actually pa*d to see this and left with everyone else, with the credits still rolling :( Wish I had known so I could have seen the last bit!

Like others, I went with low expectations having read bad reviews (one had the headline A is for Appalling!) but enjoyed it. As well as all the silly action etc it was funny, which will always win me over... :D
