Re: The Diary Room
I had a nightmare journey! I usually take the Northern Line from Moorgate to Bank because you get out right where the turnoff to the DLR platform is instead of having to fight your way through Bank station which is usually overcrowded. Well tonight, I couldn't get on the Northern Line for love or money. Got nervous so went back out in the now pouring rain (thanks), caught a bus to Bank, fought my way through only to be told I had to go over the Central Line platform which took AGES. I made it to the cinema at 6.20pm! For me that is almost unbelievably late.

Yes, I have just read this. How bizarre - there are several names I recognise on that list from this site. I might send an e-mail but there again, I don't know what I'd be getting involved with if I did. I don't recognise the sender's name or e-mail address, and it's not from anyone I know on this site.

Syd
I thought my email was bad, but yours at least seems more interesting!
But I'm staggered that you are getting the Stannah Stairlifts etc. and I do not!
Have you mistyped your DOB in some forms?
(Very happy about being sent some of your emails!)
