That's actually misinformation as someone on Twitter pointed out. It's digital, so there is no "print" as such. The distributor is simply limiting the release in order to spread out new locations between now and awards time.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I have to laugh when I read articles on line saying people are asking for refunds after watching the Artist, because they are complaining the film is silent!

Even if you didn't know, you should sit down and give the film a chance! You cannot get a refund after watching a film to the end, you have to do that at the beginning, which suggests people are not even trying a different cinematic experience when confronted with it. My OH never knows much about the film we are going to see but he gives them all a chance, subtitles or black and white or what have you. Even Nic Cage films.
