The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Re: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
I initially wasn't going to bother going to see this as it didn't really look like my type of film but made a last minute decision to go, after having heard a really good review on Saturday, I'm so glad that I did as I really enjoyed it. Good performances all-round. I'm not really one to be swayed by reviews but I'm glad I was on this occasion

Re: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
I went to the magic fm screening last night and they gave out goodies that fox had sent them. Unfortunately they only had about 6 sets so they did a draw by asking for numbers between 1 and 60 and then the person with the corresponding number on the guest list won.
Fox Searchlight have just tweeted this and I think it's the same set, although the people next to me appeared to have chocolates too (unless they'd brought them)
The people next to me were chatting a lot through the film too, luckily the volume of the film was blasting as loudly as the first time I went so it wasn't as distracting as it could be in a quieter film.

Re: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Loved this film. the characters were so believable. The film seemed shorter than it's 200 minutes, I guess that was because I was so interested in the story that the time just passed unnoticed. 9/10

Re: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
never had a 200minute version at my showing, maybe they had edited scenes out then, as some stories weren't really pursued in the version I saw, limited Celia Imrie for starters. Had 2 hours I believe as it didn't start until 7.10pm and was over at 9.15pm
