Re: Titanic 3D
I went to see this a few weeks back - in fact on St Valentine's Day with my GF (very romantic indeed...); although I did enjoy reviving the movie, I don't think the 3D adds anything to it.
Re: Titanic 3D
Never actually wanted to watch it again but in 3d, let's see what the verdict is tonight

Re: Titanic 3D
It's always nice to revive old memories... and at least there is also the curiosity to see how it looks like with the adaptation into 3D

Re: Titanic 3D
Man I love that film. And watching it at the Empire Leicester Square screen 1 is awesome, even without any cupcakes to go with it this time. I saw people arrive with proper cardboard tickets so thank you to Luke for getting us the rest of the allocation! Upstairs got pretty full. There were three guys sitting in front of us who I thought might become a nuisance but they settled down nicely. Instead the couple behind us turned out to be the neighbours from hell by chatting all the way through. I had earlier managed to knock their popcorn over when putting my coat over the back of my seat but unfortunately I had only spilled a little bit. How I wished know that I had spilled it all over the place! I shushed them a couple of times but they either didn't hear me or ignored me, until I had enough, took my 3D glasses off, very pointedly did a 180o degree turn, glared my death stare and said loudly "Can you SHUT UP please?" Yes, I did use the world please. Proper grammar would have been "Would you shut up please" but I couldn't care less at this moment, and either way, it did the trick - finally.
People clapped at the end.

The premiere next week at the RAH should be good with a full orchestra performing.

Anyone who buys the Sunday Times next weekend will get a free poster with a plan of the ship on one side and the iconic movie image of Jack and Rose on the other.

Hum, normally no. Would be quite hard/weird to have 3D + an orchestra. No one would p*y attention to the orchestra, and the conductor would have a huge headache with the screen in front of him :/superhero wrote:The premiere next week at the RAH should be good with a full orchestra performing.
But there will definitely be guests and TV people.

Someone's been feeding my lies then!

There will be a live orchestra for West Side Story
I don't have this info for Titanic but it just does not seem logic to me. Maybe I'm wrong!! Usually we have all the information on the day of the show...
