Must ask you where you were sitting superhero so my son can put a name to a face. Glad they were good -- one of my son's friends was really looking forward to the film and so pleased that I'd gotten free tickets. Sometimes mothers can be useful.

Oh yes my son, daughter and husband are very good at coming along on the freebies I manage to get through the generosity of FMUK but I couldn't convince anyone to come with me tonight to see "Going the Distance" so had to go alone. They were right -- I thought it was awful.

Saw this for the second time tonight at Shaftesbury Avenue and I think it really stands up to a second viewing. In fact I probably enjoyed it even more. Plus I was lucky enough to bag a grey beanie. As soon as the credits rolled I had to make a mad dash to the BFI Southbank to see Edgar Wright in conversation with Joe Cornish. An incredibly entertaining event with some great clips from Edgar Wright's career including footage from a hilarious short called Rolf Harris 2: The Bearded One, the sequel to Rolf Harris Saves the World. If only every night could have been as glorious as this one.

As well as getting two email reminders this morning, I got a text reminding me about the screening at 18.32 while I was in the cinema waiting for the film to start! Plus I got 4 emails requesting feedback. Talk about overkill.

No freebies at the Milton Keynes screening.

I enjoyed this film and though it really funny but no-one else was laughing at the same time as me! Though, I think that I would have understand more of the jokes if I knew more about gaming.

Well when I got there my friend said they were handing it out to the first 15 people. When I got into the screen, milkchocmonkey was there with her OH, my friend and I and another one person who also got a beanie and a t-shirt. My friend even asked to exchange his for a large and got the same t-shirt Scott Pilgrim wore in the first half of the film (the yellow one with red collar)! However when I got my beanie & t-shirt, the guy said that was the very last one!!! So I wonder where the other 5 went!
