From the original diary room
I'm sure if there are any threads you miss, you could start new ones.As suggested by allsinginganddancing, this is the thread where you can post any little thing you want to share, so it doesn't have to be a full-length blog entry or anything like that
Basically what are you doing at the moment? Or what are you looking forward to? Or what has happened recently? Stuff like that
"I'm drinking coffee at the moment" could be an example
Post whatever you want to - the thread is non-linear so you don't have to reply directly to what someone else has said, tho you can if you want to. And if someone has asked someone else a question, you don't have to wait for an answer before you post.
So what I'm doing at the moment is planning, now I've got a proper amount of free time for the first time in ages (!), whether to watch Silence of the Lambs, Aliens, or play games on the comp?
I'm thinking I'll watch the Liverpool match at 3
Oh, I've also got to do revision for a timed history essay, but that can wait I think

Re: The Diary Room
thanks f3lix + Beate...I think I did post once or twice in the old Diary Room Thread...starting to remember things...
I shall re-start some Threads
because it's as if FMUK has moved into a new "house" and it's somewhat missing that "homey" feel......
Spanner - can you start "Dilemma of the Day Thread" since the old one was "...brought to you in association with Spanner's Woes dot com!"

Re: The Diary Room
I'm beginning to miss a lot of threads - especially "ask me anything" (I cannot remember what I needed to ask, but there are so many things I think of during the day), "things I learnt today" (that was how we cound out about project trevor" etc.
Maybe someone could reinstate some of these???

Anyone seen War Horse yet? A friend offered me a spare ticket for the matinee tomorrow at the New London theatre.

Re: The Diary Room
No - No - No - the dreaded summer hols start on Wednesday and I can already hear the shouts of:-
1. "I'm bored!"
2. "Can I have some money?"
3. "So & So's mum doesn't have a problem with her/him going!"
4. "Life is so unfair - none of my friends have to do chores"
God help me and all the other parents out there!!!

http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style ... 46747.html
A romantic music fan hired out a cinema to screen his own spoof video as part of an elaborate proposal to his girlfriend.
Pete Simson, 26, told girlfriend Hannah McDonagh, 25, that they were going to watch an arty French film at the Watershed cinema in Bristol for her birthday last Friday.
Miss McDonagh was none the wiser as she sat alongside other cinema-goers, who were actually staff and customers roped in to the plan.
But after the lights came down and the usual adverts came on Miss McDonagh couldn't believe what she was seeing when Mr Simson came on the big screen in his pants miming the words to Daniel Bedingfield's pop hit If You're Not The One.
