I would complain to cineworld about how cold it was. Maybe you get lucky with compensation of tickets.

Apart the cinema being icy cold, watching the film, I thought my gosh, the Swedes are open-minded! Will they tone down some scenes in the Hollywood remake? It is very David Fincher territory.
It was quite a disjointed film and didn't flow well, especially the "I just can't shut up and I want to keep going on ending". I had to explain to my friend that it's part of a trilogy and not a stand along film, as he also thought there were many unneccesary scenes, likes the flashbacks with the matches etc.
Funny, watching the film I was thinking about other films like The Wicker Man, The Ring.....
Not having read much about the film or the books, I thought this was mainly going to be a standard drama rather than some sadistic killer thriller.

No...
“We had five or six girls audition with the rape scene. The girls had to kick a dildo up his ass. That’s Salander’s big scene, and we had to see if they could do it.”
Or, at least, not much.

having re-watched the girl with the dragon tattoo this weekend with my friend who loves the books but hadn't seen any of the films, we both agreed that we loved the casting for the film, although didn't think it was possibly as strong a film as it could have been but we both love it none the less... we're both quite worried about this re-make. i simply can't imagine it being as cold and harsh as the original film, i think it will be beautifully produced and that will take away from the grit that i love in the 1st one.
not sure about this new ending lark either! how will they do that when they have to go on and make the next two? :S hmm... i'm interested in seeing this, i really am, but only to see if it stands up to the original, which personally i love
