Get 'the curry secret' book you will never and I repeat never say that again. My OH bough at least 7 of them for friends and family and all cannot believe the results. Got them for 99p from the works. You make a sauce - does get a bit niffy, but the result is just out of this world. Store the sauce and make fantastic dishes. When he says that he fancies a curry I hope he's going to cook it himself.

BUT tonight I made Thai fish cakes fromhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/thais ... akes_90298. I had to coat them with gluten free flour but they were lush. Had some chilli dipping sauce and some ginger and garlic sauce. Will definately be doing these again.

Anyone that shops at tesco and spends more than £40 can get a free book on fruit :)

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".

Do you use gluten free stuff often? If so, do you have any good recipes? I've been looking for some that have been tested for a while now.

Yes, there are food things like flour, bread, pizza bases, pasta and some types of buiscit that are on the list. There is a better choice of wheat free things being sold now than when I was first put on the diet.
Made a banana cake last night, for some reason my colleauges in work don't like bananas with a few brown spots on the skin, so they give them to me. I had 3 yesterday, so gave the cake a go.
Very tasty, I left out the nuts as I don't like them. Used gluten free flour and 2tsp of gluten free baking powder as substitutes. I did reduce the amount of sugar at OHs' request.

http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/6003/jul ... -cake.aspx

will be making this again. So quick to mix. Make sure you have a big tin or 2 medium to large. I only had one and kept watching it to see if it would flop over the sides! A cake avalanche.

I'm not a fan of bananas when they start going brown, because I find them too sweet. I prefer them on the greener side, more starchy. I pass them to my mum who makes banana smoothies!

They do a big range. My friend came over from Canada and ought heaps of stuff from Sainsbury because it's not as widely available over there.
