That was exactly what happened. I received an apology e-mail the next day saying they wanted it to be shown in the Superscreen but there were some miscommunications and if I was one of the people turned away if I could please fill out the attached survey.opas wrote:Glad I didn't manage to get tickets for Greenwich (which would have normally been my first choice) because I doubt I would have got in. I would have been cutting it close to get to the O2 in time. Sorry to hear some of you were turned away.
Wonder if Sky were issuing tickets based on the numbers that could fit in the superscreen, but as that was not available (are they still refurbishing that area?) it meant that they were very over subscribed, even when showing it in two smaller screens. Glad some of you managed to get vouchers though.

Did anyone notice that there is a Slackers Club screening of Horrible Bosses tonight? Should be all over Picturehouses, it's 9.15pm at the Greenwich Picturehouse. I just saw it in my newsletter.

Got two tickets for next Thursday, I found a strange need to see this film again. Now I just need to find a friend. Anyone? *echoes* *tumbleweed*

I saw this at Greenwich Odeon and enjoyed it but didn't love it. It was funny and had some great moments, but like MissPrecious I also preferred Bridesmaids. Plus Jason Sudeikis always makes me think of Hall Pass now and that thought makes my brain go
Really like Charlie Day though. Would give it a second go but just didn't fully click for me 6.5/10

Re: Horrible Bosses
Having missed the Tuesday screening at the O2, despite having a bad back I was determined to make todays screening at Empire.
This is the 3rd time I've watched a film in the large screen, and each time the audio in there is absolutely horrid. There's so much echo its unreal.
Fortunately that didn't spoil the film, although about 25 minutes in, the subtitles from a completely different film appeared which whilst not spoiling the film was certainly a distraction from the actual dialog - for a moment I found myself reading the subtitles wondering if it was related to this film.
After a few minutes, they switched off the film & resumed from where we left off.
I've read good reviews & I have to say I'm glad I braved the rain & made the journey.
Hilarious movie. Kevin Spacey was amazing, and Jennifer Aniston... damn lady when did you get so fine???
Oh, & I've got to get me a Gregory for my car!!!

Re: Horrible Bosses
Saw this at a packed Edinburgh Odeon this morning.
Really enjoyed it. It was very funny and that's the best I've seen Jennifer Aniston since Friends - that sort of comedy suited her! Jason Bateman and Kevin Spacey were excellent.
It was really short - I thought they could have spun it out another 10 minutes without loosing anything.
Excellent.
9/10.
