Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
She played in Manchester last week to a half empty arena, even before the snow. I was sad that there were no SFF codes. Couldn't justify p*ying £40 plus each to see her.

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
as far as Shak at the o2 goes, i cant seem to get find any seats to book so i am wondering is she really is sold out. hopeing some get returned in time for SFF to start the handouts for the impovershed this xmas ie.me haha.
i still got my hopes on roxy music in february for SFF..they are so old they simply cant sell out! likewise Rush and Sade maybe maybe. thank goodness people age, or i would never have got to see Bon Jovi and GnR.
other possibilites for SFF have to be -
Boyzone in feb (well past their sell by but could appleal to some housewife fmukers)
March ..The Dubliners....
Glen Miller maybe..
and in May..... Barry Manilow!!

Nah, you're never too old to moshucakpam wrote:Thanx for posting this footage. Would have gone if I weren't ill.thedude wrote:oh yeah, it's all coming back now (like in The Hangover...) Here's some footage on Youtube
I feel so old watching this. I avoid mosh pits nowadays.
Anyway, I mostly stay out of it too these days, but there's a really positive vibe about Municipal Waste, the banter inbetween songs is hilarious, and the crowd is really good natured, everyone looks out for one another and we all leave grinning from ear to ear at the end of it...
And I'm so glad that most bands I care about play small places and it's usually less than £15 to see it, so no praying for free tickets...

That guy was hilarious. yes, it's great not having to p*y lots of money for a ticket. I usually p*y around 20-25 pounds for most gigs. I can even afford to invite my oh every now and then when it's not a very "heavy" act (otherwise he won't enjoy it at all).thedude wrote:

Is anyone going to see Rob Zombie next week? While I was in the middle of booking tickets for this gig, they sold out! I wasn't aware that this guy was so famous.
