Re: FOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I went for a meal with my sister, her friends and her friends son - they came up to see War Horse. The Restaurant was actually right next to the cinema. It is a fantastic Indian restaurant, lots of little booths where you are quite private, which was useful, as they started copying the Bollywood dancing on the little TV in our booth.

the food was absolutely fantastic. All you can eat for £18.00, consisting of 12 different kebabs and curries, with Naan bread and Rices. YOu can choose between Veggie or Meat/fish, if you don't like something, don't worry cos something else will come along later.
LOL I couldn't even get round to eat the curries as I was full to bursting. Sadly you can't take away left overs, as I could have tried some today. vx

The smell of the gammon roasting in the oven is making me so hungry - can't wait until I can get it on a plate - I'm starving today!

Once again I fear this thread is losing out (almost everyone who posts about food seems to do so on WW instead), so I would like to report that Sainsbury's Chocolate + Raspberry Cake is not bad in the absence of anything stodgier. Though as always, supermarket portion sizes are absurdly small: they seem to think it serves 6, but 3 would be more like it. I enjoyed my 3 big slices, at any rate!

Totally agree this cake is wonderful and if you're going to have a treat I would much rather have a decent sized slice.Ms Thrifty wrote:Once again I fear this thread is losing out (almost everyone who posts about food seems to do so on WW instead), so I would like to report that Sainsbury's Chocolate + Raspberry Cake is not bad in the absence of anything stodgier. Re: FOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!
My friend just told me about Camembert baked in its box it sounds wonderful http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j& ... Hzgq72rbwg How easy is that to make? With some lovely breads and chutney it will be pure heaven (don't mention the 755 calories to MrGlass
) Just b*ght my Camembert and will be having that at the weekend as I probably won't be able to move after eating it, it would be healthier if I shared it and added crudites.

Just put it in the microwave a few seconds and that's it. In a soup plate if possible cause the 'sides' (?) might melt.
Actually it's really good with one precise camembert but I can't remember the name.

The rind goes delicious in the oven almost caramelised (wrong word I know but I know what I mean) and I think its President cheese.Octopus wrote:Just put it in the microwave a few seconds and that's it. In a soup plate if possible cause the 'sides' (?) might melt.

No no it's not President, it's not a simple Camembert, it's something stronger. Damn it. It's gonna come back.
