A 2nd viewing definitely confirmed this as one of the best films of the year for me. If anything it was even better. Though I knew what was coming (or possibly because I knew what was coming), I found this even more unbearably tense. Great response from the audience to the lift scene as well.

I must admit my friends and I got in the lift after the film and 2 "strangers" came in as well. We did have laugh about hoping no-one had a knife!

Our screen was 100%+ full! All seats were taken and some parts of the stairs had to be used...
We were the first two there for tees! o/
My friend had the larger grey one while I opted for the white option :)

I think I agree with both KK and SF's opinion on this film, the tension build was great, the violence though one scene was a bit unecesaary(imo) was fab, I think it was meant to symbolise the fact that reality had set in for the driver, instead of still living in his little planned out fairytale world.
I loved the one scene in slow motion,
A lot of people laughed when seeing Ryan Gosling's face covered in blood, and the fact that he couldn't be bothered to clean his jacket after said incident!
Thought Ryan Gosling's performance was amazing and he deserves a lot of recognition.
Overall it's a 10/10 from me!
Even with the guy sat directly next to us rummaging through what I can only refer to as a picnic bag, throughout the entire film, in particular picking the quiet bits, and there are ALOT. :wall:
Shadowhunters: Looking better in black than the widows of our enemies since 1234.
I am, after all, what you made me.

Haven't really been to many previews lately due to lack of time, but I made time for Drive. The trailer and synopsis seemed too intriguing to miss. Boy, am I glad I went. This movie was just as I expected. Cool, slick, and managed to balance the action with suspense, emotion, and violence perfectly well, imo. I'd rate this 9.5/10.

I didn't even mind not getting a T-shirt. Just watching the movie was fine by me.
