Last night I emailed them about Scandinavian Kitchen and how staff there knew nothing about it. I asked if the book had been found already. I received this email back a little while ago.

"Thanks for your email, I am afraid this book has now been found.

Thanks for trying and do check back on BookCrossing to see if there are any more books available to be found in a location convenient for you.

All the best
Stella"

So no explanation and I still don't see anything on the location page that says where this bloody book was found.

Also, proportionally speaking, London isn't getting much love in this contest. So far only 4 books to be found? Talk about stacked odds.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Thanks for telling me Edinburgh had gone "live"; after battling my way through the city centre (Edinburgh Festival is on , town is jam packed with tourists) delighted to say I caught the book behind the bar at the Cameo Cinema. I've registered on the book site that I've caught it and e-mailed Metro; I suspect they've gone home so will need to wait until Monday to see what I've won - probably a baseball cap or a poster, but still I got the book to read so am delighted.

I think the Scandinavian Kitchen isn't the only place not playing fair - there is a note at the bottom of the Brauhaus in Edinburgh page, stating "Pub wouldn't let me take the book away!" Looks like they should stick to theatres and cinemas, as eating places seem to be overwhelmed with the concept of bookcrossing comps!

i spoke to someone at leeds today who had not seen the first film, nor read the book, but still enjoyed it.
I've read all the books and seen the first film twice ... 9.5/10 from me, and it could go up when i reflect on this ... Loved it :P
