Yes, it is very unfortunate for them especially since they've rearranged other things to attend one of the other showings....

I went yesterday too and spotted bevvy at the distance. She always gets such good seats!a_person wrote:I think that c_t and tilly are right - perhaps more tickets were sold so less tickets available.
If you're close by no harm in giving it a try.
I guess rainey, tilly, 5rannoch, bevvy and I made the right choice going yesterday!
We were seating on row J of the royal circle on the far right, so we had an obstructed view of the right hand side of the stage and the big screen. However, we had lots of leg room and nobody in front of us, which was very nice.
I thought the musical was funny and it was nice to sing along to some of the songs (I recognised about 1/3 of them), like the Final Countdown.

I've offered a ticket up for tonight, I don't know should I write back to SFF and cancel, not offer the ticket or just leave it as it is...

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I always wonder if SFF actually processes cancellation e-mails. People will still receive automated reminder e-mails for them, so I don't think it'll make much difference if you cancel or not.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I think people have received cancellations for all shows offered through SFF, but not consistently. For example: I received cancellations for Wednesday and Thursday, not for tonight, but someone else mentioned they called the theatre who said that SFF tickets for tonight are cancelled. So I think we're all a bit confused...

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
OK I have tried skimming the last 8 pages of posts but I'm still a bit confused.
I had tickets booked for tonight and tomorrow but I only received one email saying:
We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control your tickets for the preview of Rock of Ages have been cancelled. We are very sorry but they will not be accepted at box office as the seating is not available.
But it doesn't say which date! I have given my tickets for tonight away so please can someone let me know if the SFF tickets for tonight are definitely not valid?
