Even though the cinema was full to the last seat, there wasn't as much laughter as at my first screening which surprised me a bit. Even the video at the end, which people duly watched, didn't get belly laughs, but some people at least clapped at the end.
I felt the same! the atmosphere was warmer @Odeon Greenwich last week!
my friends and I were the ones clapping tonight

, we hoped to start a trend but sadly it did not quite work!
what happened at the back of the cinema... I could hear a guy speaking loudly from times to times
not as enjoyable as the first time for me, I would give it only a 8/10 this time!

Saw this at Greenwich and the cinema for a change was packed and it started promptly at 18:30.
Like Yinster said ...not sure I really loved it after all the hype the film was getting. The child actors were good the effects great but there was something missing for me. I just never thought the children were going to be in real peril. One part of the film when we saw the girl with the hair rollers...I knew she was going to be a goner. On the whole I enjoyed it and I loved the "home movie" bit during the end credits and the homage to George A Romero with the Romero Chemical factory. I rate it a 6.5/10.

Lol..I know exactly who you're talking about. This was the dude all the way on the left on the 5th / 6th row?
Anybody spot me? I was there from 18h00 playing 'Plants vs Zombies' on my phone
Movie was OK. Gets a healthy 6.5/10 from me. JJ's weakest in my opinion, though I do consider MI:3 to be his best (obviously).

Just seen this at a packed Wimbledon cinema.
I felt it was very much a kids film though very well acted.
I didn't find the plot original and felt like I was watching the goonies and ET all rolled into one.
It did keep me in suspense and was quite funny so for that I'll give it 7/10

Saw this at packed Edinburgh. Not sure how there were so many extra folk there, whether they had put it in a smaller cinema, or folk coming into the wrong one.
Lots of hype about the film, but altho good on a wet evening will not be one of the films I remember . Loved the young girl in it.
Made me appreciate ET all the more, old film and not all the cgi images, but one that I will not forget, maybe just an age thing.
7.5/10 from me

Oh God. I noticed all those blue lens flares throughout the movie and merely thought they were part of the lighting. I just discovered JJ Abrams has those inserted
on freakin' purpose!! It's his signature!
See:

It's going to be hard to watch another one of his movies without finding them distracting, especially knowing they're intentional. *grrr*
