And only last week I was thinking that it would soon be time for sunscreen - I've been burned several times in the UK in March, and it's nearly April now. What weird weather we have here!

I just been in London for 2 years. Coming from sun shiny country all year round, I'm looking forward the fun in the sun.... but I think this year is way too weird, the minute I thought, "Yeahhh, it's getting warmer..." then, it rains crazily and windy too. urrgghhhhhh

Hailstones in Durham on Tuesday, 20th October, which left a faint covering in places. Snow forecast for the weekend, and I've heard that we are in for the worst winter in a thousand years. (How do they know that? Have they been keeping records for 1000 years?)

I drove through snow and sleet to get to Aberdeen yesterday morning and temperature of 0!!!

Regards to what Andrews says about worst winter in 1000 years, does that mean we can skate on our frozen river Thames!?! That's what they were doing over just 100 years ago!
