Bring it on Preston1990. I'm happy to be on the list and ready to give support. After seeing a photo of myself at the weekend resembling Moon-Face from the Faraway Tree I need to get back on board. I'm still a size 14 (which are now snug) and should be a size 12 8O I did get down to them feeling fairly loose last year and the year before. My downfall is socialising which always tends to involves eating
Just having porridge as we speak and my usual cup of black coffee. So lets get started o/

It's very heartening to see those positive posts Valda and Diane65 o/

Ok I'm going to start this thing seriously now. No more crisps and junk food snacks for me from now.

My downfalls are sitting around and continually comfort eating. This is not helped by Waitrose's recent promotion of Cadbury's Creme Eggs for only 13p each. I b*ght a stock of 20 to drip feed to my teenage kids - needless to say it's me who's working his way through them with avengence. :tears:

OK, it's got to stop! - salad for lunch methinks. Have a day out with a pal at a local National Trust planned for tomorrow - will have to get a long walk in.

LOL at Dianes "Moonface" reference. I used to love that book, Saucepanman and Silky were my favourites. Lets hope the "Land of Successful Weightloss" comes to the top of the Tree for us and stays a while! :D

Keep off the Slippery-Slip :nono:

Keep up the good work people - you can do it! Healthy eating doesn't have to mean depriving yourself, just smarter choices. Got to treat yourself now and again in my view, just not too much. Looking forward to hearing all the positive results!

Those last three days, I had one pie, one fish & chips, one burger & chips, and loads of sweets and cakes. I'm no Weight Watcher anymore, guys.

The Slippery-Slip can be our new code for falling of the healthy eating programme.

I wish I looked like Silky she's stunning but its Moon-Face I'm afraid. Enjoy your long walk tomorrow it always makes you feel energised.
You could have your creme eggs on your treat day; MrG allows us one day off a week if you're good
Whenever I finish my Easter eggs which will be over 4 treat days; I love getting a 99 Ice-Cream as my treat from the ice-cream man and you appreciate it so much moreas a treat. (I'm talking myself into this as I would love one everyday.

I'm sure MrG will soon be on this thread giving his expert advice inbetween his Marathon training (still awaiting the sponsor link) and cricket.

Welcome to the thread Preston1990 o/

Well done rawr_oxo and Valda next time we meet my generous thighs will be history.

Thanks for the welcome Diane. You sound like you'll be a good ally to keep me on my diet.

I'll post our "before" pictures here, and then we can make a start.

That's me on the right! ;) :D
