Well, there may be tickets for almost every night, but I still can't book any! To be fair I can't do it next Monday and Tuesday, but I missed these anywaysuperhero wrote:See now there's tickets for Design for Living for almost every night! No excuse not to go! Now just to see what everyone thinks of it

Did anyone write a review for Design for Living? I didn't look into it and thought it was something boring like a play on the Home Exhibition or something.

Oh, that looked okay then. Oh well, never mind. Anyway, three hours would have been very hard for me to sit for.....

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
My oh and I saw Design for Living on Friday. We were allocated seats in row P of the stalls. Since the seats in front of us were empty, we had a very good view of the stage.
I think the play was okay. I was certainly not bored at any point (except during the second interval when I started getting sleepy) but I also didn't love it. It might have something to do with everything being too posh for my taste. The acting was good, and the set of the third act was stunning. As superhero has mentioned, acts 2 and 3 are quite funny. I wouldn't p*y to watch this play, but, as we're getting free tickets, I can't complain.

You see, when all the reviews are stuck together in a discussion thread, it's not easy to find!

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
heeheee true. getting posh thesps to act free for me is ace
graft, you thesps, graft!
DEsign for Life was a well acted play and more the sort of effort you'd expect from the Old Vic.I'm really not sure what the all the fuss is about Noel Coward though, I've seen wittier play material from lesser known names.
Very long, so use the intervals to stretch your legs!
oh yeah some dumb posh usher chick tried to stop me getting back in after my loo break, but i used the 'i need the medicine in my bag' lie on her, and she had to let me enter. suckered
thanks for the idea, guys.
