Woah, Diane - I'm loving that determination to succeed. Even your "Treat Day" looks like a pretty restrained affair! Well done You!!Diane65 wrote: ......just been on a brisk 4 mile walk, well 2 miles to pick up a birthday card (hence 15 minute sort of break) and 2 miles back......

.....I'm determined this time to get in shape.
Hey, I've just thought! Your walk with a break part way through could probably be classed as "Interval" or "Fartlek" training - so even better!!
Todays meals for me:
1. 2 Weetabix with 200 ml skimmed milk. Black coffee.
2. Mixed bean salad splashed with balsamic vinegar.
3. Salmon steak and half a bag salad leaves - enrobed
4. Chicken, pepper, spring onion, beansprout, water chestnut stir fry with dark soy sauce.
5. Toast with small scraping of cashew nut and avacado pate.
Hey, let's be careful out there!

Good luck with getting to the gym Rawr!
With the amount of walking you do when at work - you'll probably be OK anyway!

Re: Weight Watchers
Of course I was doing "fartlek" training
(I'm not sure if popping into a shop counts)
Ham salad sandwich and yoghurt
and copied Preston1990's idea of the stir fry but as I had no beansprouts in did it on a wrap followed by melon and kiwi.
Just finished eating so going to exercise at 8pm
Loving Preston1990's meals I can't do 5 meals as work in a clinic hence have to stick with the traditional 3
Rawr-xoxo you do loads of exercise at work which is brilliant
Edit: Just done my work out so feel half dead now but it wasn't quite as tough as earlier this week but it will be worth it in the end.

Re: Weight Watchers
Just done a 30 minute power walk in my fitflops (to get a bit more exercise) but my calves starting aching very quickly as it didn't enter my head to stretch out before and the after effects of last nights DVD (I will be stretching out in future)
Menu of the day:
Banana sandwich
2 poached eggs on one slice of wholemeal toast and a large piece of melon.
Quorn cottage pie, carrots and broccoli and a yoghurt
Still to decide re last 200 calories but I will have something healthy.
Whats everyone else up to?

Re: Weight Watchers
I got up very late today so I had two crumpets with a little butter, and had a footlong turkey and ham sub on wheat with lettuce, sweetcorn, onion and honey mustard for lunch/dinner.
And Ive had two apples as snacks, didnt get to go gym today since we got up so late, so were going late tomorrow when the gym is empty and doing adouble session :)
Then were doing an extra long session on monday too, but then my BF's hours change possibly which means we wont be able to get to the gym before 4, whivch makes my membership redundant except for weekends :/
So in the week im either going to have to check the free hours at the local gym) but its tiny and always rammed because of this, or I could start running around my area during the day? :S
