Re: Rise of the Planet of the Apes
well the second trailer answers my main question
I'll probably end up crying and being on the side of the apes like I did in King Kong

Re: Rise of the Planet of the Apes
I'm in two minds about wanting to see this one...
On the one hand I've never seen the originals because they didn't appeal to me and the new trailer just looks plain weird to me (it was somewhere between freaky and making me laugh because it looked so ridiculous).
On the other: Andy Serkis! Tom Felton!
So guys convince me, should I see this one or skip it?

Re: Rise of the Planet of the Apes
But why?
The storyline doesn't really appeal to me and what I gather from the trailer it's either very freaky (which I'm not a fan of) or ridiculous and hilarious (which I assume is unintended).

Re: Rise of the Planet of the Apes
I'm really looking forward to this film. The actors in it are a factor, but am also interested in the back story. Depending on how it's played out, this could be amazing. Though of course, it could dive bomb dramatically. Either way, am willing to give it a chance.canadian_turtle wrote:I'm in two minds about wanting to see this one...
