Btw the London premiere is on Monday September 13 at the Odeon Leicester Square if anyone's interested in trying to spot the stars

I am so looking forward to seeing this film. John Le Carre is one of my favourite authors, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series on BBC with the late Sir Alec Guinness in the lead role as George Smiley. Did anyone else see it? We've got the DVD - I think I'll watch it again to see how the film measures up.

Really looking forward to this as well. Thought it was interesting at Big Screen to hear the producer talk about how the younger actors like Tom Hardy and Benedict Cumberbatch were in awe of Gary Oldman.

I still find it incredible to believe that Gary Oldman has never even been nominated for an oscar let alone won one.

I just read the release has been pushed back to December (Ethan Runt re-tweet)

edit: right it was about the US release date to increase its chances for the Oscar!

The UK release is set for September 16, I don't know if that is still the same or if it's pushed back a few days as well now (the red carpet premiere was the 13th, I'm assuming that stays the same)

Hopefully the UK release date will remain. The TV channels are showing trailers for it already. The long clip shown at the Empire Big Screen showcase had me at the edge of my seat so I am really looking forward to seeing this too.

The UK release date is now 16 September :) I think it may be 2 days after the original release of the 14th.
