Just seen this. Absolutely dreadful. Nicolas Cage's run of stinkers continues. Hopefully Justice will be better next week.

Batman and Robin is no longer Joel Schumacher's worst film.

The odeon ticket line seemed to think the the tickets should have a show time on them when we said they didn't the lady we spoke to said she would ring the cinema and find out. Unfortunately, when she rang back she said that even the cinema was not sure about the times either.
Anyway, fingers crossed that there will be seats for the tonights showing. We will have to get to the cinema early just to make sure..Hope its worth it although I have my doubts
Your tickets are for any showing on that particular day.

Just got back from seeing this. I turned up at the box office and the two people ahead of me had just claimed tickets with their sky printout so the lady just took mine with barely a glance and asked the guy next to her for two more tickets from the bunch they had pre-printed and in an envelope in readiness. I had to correct her and say I just needed one. The ticket has the full price on it so it makes me wonder that Sky have some sort of interest in this film and want to artificially inflate the box office takings? The screening was about 50% full and I'm asuming most were from free sky tickets.

The main problem with the film is that they start off with a deeply unlikeable family so you just don't care what happens to them. I spent the start of the film studying the amount of botox Ms Kidman has had since her last film. She now has a weird half&half forehead where the wrinkles start halfway up and it looked like Nic Cage had borrowed the half she'd not been using.

The best bit was the trailers, Justice which looks like it's going to be just as bad, The Thing again and the new orange advert which i the Muppets doing The Orange show! :D

That's the last film I'd seen her in. Her forehead has calmed down a little since then but now it's looking strange where some wrinkles are creeping in but frozen around the brow line.

I was thinking that earlier actually, why else would they make such a strange arrangement? Free previews don't count towards box office takings but this would of course.

Forgive them their Trespass(es). Another awful film. Everything about it was so terrible to the point that the audience was just laughing at the mess of it all.

I managed to sit behind two people who talked and I mean talked, not whispered, throughout the adverts and trailers -- now I don't mind that at all. But then they proceeded to talk and I mean talk out loud during the film. Finally I asked they could be quiet and they asked me why. I said I knew it was a pretty dreadful film so far but I would like to give it a chance and they answered "But we are talking about the film." So that's it, FMUK. It is perfectly acceptable to talk and talk loudly throughout a film as long as you are talking about the film. Now where was a_person when I needed her?

I moved my seat. There were plenty at Panton Street and for a first night of a new film this was a very poor turnout.

Nice to see prettyxcool and marialionza and we had a chat about Kidman's strange lips and Cage's odd looking face--but we did that after the film and not during it.

You should have retaliated by rustling lots of sweet wrappers while talking about how awful Immortals was, then Marialionza should have taken her mobile phone out, having an animated conversation in Spanish and when they glared back at her, say "What? I have to leave diddums the cat a message, she's feeling lonely!" Then PXC should have taken her camera out and flashed into their eyes, saying "I have to take a picture of you, you are so beautiful." I bet THEY would have moved then. :giggle:
