Having waited so long to see this I was somewhat disappointed when it came to it, and glad I hadn't pa*d (used my last Odeon voucher). I won't say the film dragged but it felt a lot longer than its actual length (92 minutes) and I was slightly uncomfortable to find myself the only female in the audience - though at least the attendance was better than I'd have expected for a weekday afternoon. I know the film focuses on a fledgling gay relationship but surely an interest in relationships and in films depicting them isn't the preserve of one sex only?

To cap off a couple of great days for @weekendmovie - in the US the film is getting close to $600,000 across theatrical and VOD - thank you!


In the UK @weekendmovie is one of Odeon Covent Gardens best grossing titles in 2011. So glad to find such a great audience in the west end
