I really enjoyed the action in this film. Incredibly well executed without the annoying fast cut edits we get in most hollywood films. It did feel so much like I was playing a Call Of Duty game.

But everything else about the film was so heavy handed with gung ho patriatism that it looked like a War on Terror propaganda movie. But saying that, therr is no doubt about the sacrifices the soldiers do for their country and this film admirably drills that message in.

What I really hated was narrator's voice. I dont need his narration, I can see for myself on the screen but worse he sounds like Vin Diesel and I hate Vin Diesel's voice!

The acting is terribly stilted by almost everyone. I didnt feel any warmth to any individual so any one who died, i just feel sorry for but nothing more despite the forceful strings to wring out an emotional response.

I give it 7/10 mostly for some of the best directed action scenes in a hollywood film.

I got an urge to play Black Ops now...

And let me just say this, I dunno about you, but the audience I saw this film with was awful. Checking their phones, crunching loudly, kicking seats, horrendous. If I knew them personally, I would scald each and every one of them
 Yikes! I hope you mean scold!!!! Else no one will ever go to a screening with you! Ever! :giggle:

It definitely is a propaganda movie (or probably even a recruitment film) but it doesn't have to cloud the judgement of its entertainment value. Casablanca was a propaganda film and so were a few other good World War 2 movies (particularly at the start of the WW2).

I saw this film today and really enjoyed it... I thought the action was tense and gripping and the story was uplifting! 7/10
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."
